Since a Japan tour for Big Bang had been planned for next April, we had decided to release their new album on February 1st for a two-month promotion before the tour. Yang also explained that “Big Bang was able to secure more time on their second promotion of the duo debut album GD&TOP, which they will be doing through one of its tracks called ‘Don’t Go Home,’ and that Seungri was able to change his plan for a digital single into that for a mini-album.”

“Rehearsal for us was like a scene from a disaster area“, grinned Takahashi. “The combined number of members, including cameos from SKE48 and NMB48, exceeded the total of 100!” This year, the AKB48 family has grown tremendously in size with the additions of the groups, SKE48 and NMB48.

AKB48 first performed on “Kohaku” back in 2007, though their fame hadn’t quite kicked off yet. The girls performed “Aitakatta“, but unfortunately, they received more attention on their parts as back-up dancers for Enka legend, Godai Natsuko.

[News] TVXQ to unveil title track from new album on Jan 3rd

TVXQ will unveil the title track from their upcoming album next week ahead of their comeback, according to their agency SM Entertainment on Thursday. 

SM announced in a press release that TVXQ will reveal the song "Keep Your Head Down" on January 3 on various online music sites, two days before their album of the same name goes on sale, while the teaser video for the song will be available on their official website and YouTube channel tomorrow. 

Meanwhile, the boys revealed two versions of a teaser video, in the format of a commercial, which aired for the first time on December 29 during SBS' "Gayo Daejun" and MBC's Entertainment Awards. It will be shown on other year-end programs on major Korean networks till tomorrow. 

TVXQ, formerly composed of five members Xiah Junsu, Hero Jaejung, Micky Yuchun, Max Changmin and U-Know Yunho, is known as one of the leading dance groups in the K-pop market since making their debut in 2004. 

However, after disputing with agency SM Entertainment over the unfairness of their 13-year exclusive contract, Jaejung, Yuchun and Junsu halted their activities as TVXQ and instead formed trio JYJ. 

TVXQ is now a duo with members Changmin and Yunho, who are set to make their comeback to their music scene with a new album “Keep Your Head Down” whose special edition will hit stores on January 5 and the regular version a week later. The same album is also set for release in Japan on January 26.
